Friendship Chimney Sweep is based on William R Latham Senior Drive in Bourbonnais, near Olivet Nazarene University and Perry Farm Park. Bourbonnais itself is a mix of the older village core and the subdivisions that have grown around it since the 1970s, so our home-town work runs from masonry repair on original brick to prefab fireplace and gas unit service in newer homes. How we schedule across the area
We group jobs by direction so the truck is not crossing the county three times a day. Kankakee, Bradley, Limestone, Bonfield and Aroma Park are close enough for same-day or next-day work. Manteno, Momence, St. Anne, Herscher, Chebanse, Clifton and Grant Park are usually within one to three days. The Will County towns, Peotone, Monee, Beecher, Crete, University Park, Manhattan, Wilmington and Braidwood, are grouped into runs a few times a week. Urgent problems, a fireplace smoking into the room or a gas unit that will not shut off, jump the queue wherever they are.
What is different from town to town
The houses. Kankakee, Momence and St. Anne have the oldest chimneys in the area and the most relining and restoration masonry. Bradley, Herscher and Crete have a lot of mid-century masonry fireplaces with cracked crowns and tired dampers. Manteno, Manhattan, Peotone and the Will County subdivisions have factory-built and gas units that need tune-ups and chase covers. Herscher, Bonfield, Chebanse and the farm townships heat with wood and need their stove flues swept every fall. Aroma Park is still dealing with storm damage from the March 2026 tornado.
