What working with us looks like

You will talk to someone who can tell you whether the smell in your living room is a creosote problem or a damper problem, and who can put you on the schedule while you are on the phone. We answer 7am to 9pm, seven days a week, because chimney problems do not wait for business hours.
We look before we quote. Chimneys hide their problems inside the flue and on top of the roof, so we do not price repair work over the phone. A sweep or inspection comes with photos, a plain description of what is fine, what to watch and what needs fixing, and a written price for anything we recommend. You decide. Nothing is added to the job without your approval.
We do the work to the standard. Every sweep and inspection follows NFPA 211, the standard for chimneys, fireplaces and venting systems. Liners are listed to UL 1777. Mortar is matched to the brick. Caps are stainless, fastened with stainless screws. It is not complicated, but it has to be done every time.
We clean up. Drop cloths, a sealed fireplace opening and a HEPA vacuum running from the first brush to the last. If there is soot on your carpet after we leave, we did it wrong.
